Often called white gold, Suvin cotton is the finest in the world. A hybrid of Caribbean Sea Island cotton and Indian Sujata, it is carefully cultivated in Tamil Nadu. The annual production is so small, it makes this top extremely rare. The cotton is cultivated organically, leaving a small carbon footprint: no pesticides, fertilizer, toxic runoff or excessive water usage. Finally, the threads are run through a flame at lightning speed to remove lint and impurities, yielding a softer, smoother brighter, and stronger yarn.
