Terri, you have just started your second year. How did you come to be a Carlisle Consultant? When the younger of my two kids was in school, I said to myself, "Now it's time for me to do something I'd like to do." Because of my interest in fashion and how much I enjoyed helping out my friends when they were shopping for clothes, I was looking into starting a personal shopping business. That's when a friend said, "You should work with Carlisle." I researched the company and liked what I saw: I could still be available for my children, be my own boss, and run a home-based business. Carlisle provided a template to work with that made things much easier for me than it would have been otherwise. Also, I wouldn't have done it with just anybody. Carlisle reflected both my style and my appreciation of quality. I just love the clothes. All you have to do is look in my closet and you'll see. In what important ways has being a Carlisle Consultant affected your life? Other than the obvious—the clothes—there are so many things I love about Carlisle. I love meeting all the people I get to work with. I love helping people to look the best they can. When I see how these women look in the Carlisle clothes I put them in, I see it almost as if I'm a jeweler who takes pride in a beautiful piece she's created. The financial benefits are great. I love being my own business owner, making my own schedule, having flexibility, and having time for my kids. This past weekend, I was preparing invitations for the upcoming show, and my son asked if he could stamp envelopes for me. My daughter will help me out sometimes, too. At those times, it's almost like it's a family business.
