Tell us about your clients and the people you work with at Carlisle. My clients come from all walks of life... all religions, races, ages, shapes, and sizes. My professional clients probably benefit the most from my services because it's a huge time saver for them. In 60 to 90 minutes of shopping, they can be done for the season. Then I have clients who are very involved in community activities, or who just love fashion and the fun of shopping, or who aren’t naturals at fashion and benefit from the expertise that I provide. Carlisle really does have the best products and the best people who care deeply about what they do. Our designers truly listen to what the Consultants tell them about what works well and what doesn't with our clients. Some of my closest friends in life are Carlisle Consultants. We tend to enjoy the same things: we take pride in having our own businesses, we’re very goal-oriented, and those similarities draw us closer. In what important ways has being a Carlisle Consultant affected your life? For fourteen years now, being a Carlisle Consultant has given me an identity besides being somebody's wife or somebody's mother. Those things are wonderful, but with Carlisle, I have something that's just for me. It's given me a lot of confidence in making my own decisions. And as my clients have placed their trust in me to help them make the right decisions, I’ve developed further confidence from that trust. If I had to pick one word to describe my experience, the word would be "rewarding." Being a Consultant fits my life perfectly, in terms of keeping a flexible schedule for my family, in terms of my interest in and love of fashion, and in terms of my love of working with people, women in particular. It's been financially rewarding, too, but I think the most fulfilling aspect has been the relationships I've developed. I sometimes ask myself, "How long would it have taken me to meet all these people if I weren’t a Carlisle Consultant?" So many of them have opened my eyes to the world.
