John A. Norton
Vice-President, Research and Development, The Connaught Group, Ltd.

John joined the Connaught Group as Vice-President for Research and Development in 1998. As a member of the Senior Management Committee, John brings over 35 years of experience to bear on issues related to planning, research, and company development.

Before joining Carlisle, he was Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer of Wirthlin-Reynolds, a research firm. Over the course of 14 years of service on graduate business school faculties, including those of the University of Virginia and the University of Chicago, he has taught courses on marketing research, multivariate statistics, and marketing management. He has published in such journals as Management Science, Marketing Science, and MIT Sloan Management Review, and is a recipient, with Frank Bass, of the John D.C. Little Award for his contributions to the field of marketing science. 

John holds a doctorate in Management Science with a minor in econometrics from the University of Texas at Dallas. He is a member of the Institute for Operations Research and Management Science.
