Susan G. Komen was founded by Nancy G. Brinker, who promised her sister, Susan G. Komen, that she would end the disease that claimed Suzy’s life. Today, Komen is the world’s largest breast cancer organization, funding more breast cancer research than any other nonprofit outside of the federal government while providing real-time help to those facing the disease.
At Carlisle, we have an incredible network of intelligent women who support other women around the world, specifically through various charities; and we take great honor in supporting a deeply personal cause that affects countless women.
Each year, we create a beautifully crafted original silk scarf bearing the Susan G. Komen logo. These scarves are given as gifts for donations of $150 or more to benefit Susan G. Komen, allowing you an opportunity to give fashion a meaning beyond style.
Since 1998, Carlisle stylists and clients have donated over 2 million dollars to help Komen fund breast cancer research and community outreach programs. Since its founding in 1982, Komen has funded more than $920 million in research and provided more than $2 billion in funding to screening, education, treatment and psychosocial support programs serving millions of people in more than 30 countries worldwide.
We are proud to support Susan G. Komen’s mission to save lives and end breast cancer forever.
